Dr. David Ginsberg

My name is Dr. David Ginsberg and I have been practicing chiropractic since 1990. Since my sophomore year in high school, I have wanted to be a chiropractor. I attended Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, where I studied pre-medicine, biology and played on the varsity tennis team. Wanting to get out of the cold, I attended Palmer-West Chiropractic College in San Jose, California, where I graduated Cum Laude in 1990.

After graduation, I practiced in a large multi-doctor clinic in Fremont, California, for 4 years. In addition to seeing my own patients, I performed all of the exams, x-rays, and therapies for 3 doctors which gave me a multitude of clinical experiences. I also worked part-time at a physical therapy clinic, participated in several research projects validating chiropractic procedures, and co-authored a chapter on sports injuries in the TEXTBOOK OF CLINICAL CHIROPRACTIC: A BIOMECHANICAL APPROACH.

My wife, Shawn, and I loved Northern California, and all it had to offer, but we decided the mid-west is where we wanted to raise a family. We picked the Geneva community because it seemed to be a great place to raise kids and had a lot to offer in outdoor activities.

In 1994, I opened up Ginsberg Chiropractic at 405 Williamsburg Avenue (the building just west of here). Since then, I have been helping children with ear infections, asthma, and ADD, as well as, adults with athletic injuries, whiplash, headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, and lower back pain. I have taken post-graduate training in pediatrics, whiplash, nutrition, and athletic injuries.

I specialize in the Gonstead Method of Chiropractic (see gonsteadseminar.com for more info). In 2005, I became certified in pregnancy and pediatrics (CCP) by completing a 100-hour post-graduate course and passing a final examination. I am also TraumaTeam Certified, a Certified Posture Exercise Professional (CPEP), and fellowship trained in Spinal Biomechanics and Trauma (FSBT)

It is my mission to help individuals and families get more out of their life by teaching them how to be as healthy as they can be in a fun environment. If we make it fun and enjoyable then having a healthy chiropractic lifestyle becomes a habit instead of a chore. It is my wish that every individual feels special and that they are taken care of in an extraordinary way when they are in my clinic.

When I am not in the office taking care of patients or working on ways to improve the office, you will probably find me exercising. I enjoy running, biking, golf, triathlon, adventure racing, traveling, and going out to eat. I am a firm believer in trying to set an example of a healthy lifestyle for my patients. I love taking care of people and spending time with my wife, 3 daughters, and granSPPC Junk Drawer 1dchildren. I consider it the highest honor that people entrust me with their greatest asset, their health. It is my hope that understanding more about me and where I come from will allow you to get more out of your care.
